Das Parinirvana, ein Begriff aus dem Buddhismus, beschreibt das vollständige Erlöschen. Im Gegensatz zu Nirvana ist hierbei die absolute Ruhe und das fehlen jeglicher Bewegung und karmischen Handelns. Dieses Bild zeigt dieses Erlöschen und die Loslösung aller Unruhe des Lebens.
