I had a lot of fun drawing the two of us, and even brought me great ideas to use for traditional and digital works...

For this, I used Manga Studio Debut 4 and edited on Picnik to crop out the extra space I had..

--Which was a terrible idea since the colors aren't as bright or vivid... >:I--

i think it still looks really good! i love your work! it alway has this awesome slightly creepy flair to it but still is somehow epically cute~

Manga Studio...
...Well, I have many screenshots on both my Tumblr and in my Scrapbook if you ever want to see bits and pieces of the set up... And now that I have Sai, it's very similar- but has many limitations compared to it...

...It's difficult to blend colors and your main blur tool could only get to a certain size before becoming really slow and drag across the screen, making large areas difficult to cover... The color selection is very wide and there are many brushes you could use for patterns and different textures... But, I'd have to say, unless you like to do very simple coloring and basic concepts, drawings with many details and call for many shades is very difficult to get through...

..My favorite of the program has to be the pen strokes though. ;;u;; They're very smooth and act like a thick paint brush on paper before you... Much better quality than Sai, and what I've heard from a friend, Photoshop as well.

That's all I could say... Most of it is complaints cause I expected more out of fifty dollars, but it's a really good program... Just not the most professional. xD

ive worked on sai before it wasn't bad, however that was just a trail package. now im working on open canvas but i absolutely loathe it!

so would you suggest that i buy manga studio or no?

..I got the free version, which has its limits as well, but... ;;~;;

Well, it's a really good program to work with once you figure out the little tricks to it and develop a good way to shade, and all...
But, before making the final decision, I say downloading the free trial would give ya a better feel for it before actually going out to buy it before finding out it doesn't fit you or it's not what you're looking for...

i was looking for the free trial! thank you for sending me the link~ every time i searched it took me to this other version of the site and i couldn't find the download. ill try it but i hate when you do that and then you lose the trial ;a;

its really fine, i dont mind the long posts! it just means that your actually trying to explain it XD and that is much appricated!

Ah, that's the worst part about the trials... ;;n;; But, it's just a bit better than buying it then realizing it wasn't worth the money...
