I still wish grass wasn't weak to flying haha that's the only problem I have with grass being my favorite type
When I played through Pkmn-X my friend helped me basically make a pumpkaboo my starter
We named her Jacko'lynn (get it? like jacko'lantern and Jacqueline, haha sorry I'm lame), and when he was breeding her for me he made her the largest size with a relaxed nature so that she'd be slow but as able to take a hit as possible, then i trained in defense with the rest divided into HP and special defense, gave her an eviolite to hold so that both defenses were boosted by 50%, and her moves were: will-o-wisp (cause a burn to half the opponents attack), leech seed (to do damage and heal a bit each turn), dark pulse, and flame charge
And I don't battle competitively or anything haha I just love proving that you can take what people dismiss as a weak grass type and raise it to be super unstoppable!
and Jacko'lynn recently reached level 100 while i was leveling up a shiny jumpluff haha

Ah man that sounds like an awesome Pumpkaboo!  And it does just go to show that people shouldn't just dismiss a Pokémon off the bat for being "weak" (because those people are totally missing out).  I absolutely love the name as well.

And ahaha you should never apologise for nerding out!  I do it all the time... :L

Totally! Sometimes the ones that seem weakest can actually have the best strategy options if you bother to look into it and get creative
