[Background]
In this AU, dark Leonardo is a prince-turned-mercenary. Originally heir to the throne of the neighbouring (and rival) Oroku kingdom, his birthright was stolen through clever and underhanded plotting amongst corrupt court officials. In a vie for power, the Crown Prince’s death was staged and he was cast from his homeland to favor his younger sister, Karai, in her rise to Queendom.
Utilizing his training in the Oroku royal family’s secret martial art- as well as some stealth and sabotage tricks learned from the road-, dark Leonardo carves out a living as a feared assassin. Abandoning the name he carried as a prince, he instead takes up the mantle of Kuroi.
Strange, that in the Nelle Kingdom he’d meet a knight with his name and his face…
