I made this plush back in October? (Some things happened and I wound up never formally posting about it until now. Oops.)

(It's an absolute abomination and I totally do not sit around with it on my lap when I'm using the computer, definitely did not buy a slicker brush for the express purpose of de-matting it's fur, and definitely to do not use it as a non-living alternative to some sort of therapy animal that I can only hug when I'm alone.)

Nimbus took 3 days back to back of work to make. Most of his stitching was done on that Viking sewing machine I bought way back when, and the rest (such as attaching his limbs to his body, or his button eyes) was done by hand. He's stood the test of time decently well thus far? Especially considering he gets machine washed about once a month with the rest of my bedding.
(You've no idea how powerful a slicker brush is when it comes to repairing dryer damage on a plush's fur. I felt like a minor sewing god when I applied the line brushing skills I learned back when I was my mom's dog grooming assistant and absolutely demolished what had previously seemed like hopeless matting. GET YOU ONE if you have expensive plushes my dude. Or a dog. Slicker brushes are really meant to be used on dogs and such.)
