SOME INFO ON CCCATS:
{CCCat} Physical FeaturesSmall warning of some pretty weird material about corpse possession and such?? Yep!
If you're not good with some weird gross-sounding material, please be careful reading.
When a Crowned Clown Cat first starts out, it begins in two separate-bodied forms: a crystal-like, magical eye, and a long, slithering body. These forms are referred to as a "wormling" and would be the closest thing to a "baby" CCCat. However, it should be noted CCCats cannot produce offspring or have blood-made relatives. Each CCCat is created upon a blessing of an abandoned eye to a body, and must return to that kind of living in order to gain proper life.
To obtain a new host, CCCats venture the world in their wormling form until they can come across a decaying corpse or body of an animal. These wormling forms are parasitic creatures that crawl into the husk of the corpse and proceed to expand (very rarely they'll find a body that requires them to shrink) and grow inside of it.
CCCat Basic Info [FAQ too!]Gonna try this out for brief lore and information about how the species work bc I've had people ask but never actually wrote it down clearly besides on the broken site. rip
If anything needs updating or changing, I'll be sure to update this and write it down when needed!
You are also allowed to ask questions at the bottom and I'll update this journal with the responses to them!
Intro
CCCats are short for Crowned Clown Cats. A name given to them by the first man who noticed a CCCat possess his dead pet cat.
Crowned - Referring to their "crown" of antennae
Clown - Referring to their bright and unusual colors
Cat - Referring to the first animal to ever be seen taken over and to become what we see as a CCCat today.
Anatomy
CCCats are originally just an eye and a snake-like body which later becomes their tongue. Being a parasitic species, these "baby" CCCats are called Wormlings, and remain like this until the wormling finds a host to possess/take
