Took longer than expected! And that still gives me a margin of time to do something Halloween-themed *whew* Maybe not...
It was originally gonna be a group of four, but then Mega Glalie was announced...I just had to do my version of Mega Froslass, along with an old Mega Bellossom I drew a long time ago to keep it at an even number.

Inspiration: While wanting to incorporate a much-needed mermaid tail onto the mermaid-like Pokemon, I also wanted it to mimic a wild buttefly to bring out its Fairy typing in a more vibrant way. Its eyebrows (or long, flowing "hair") are wavy to pretend to be kelp. The aurora-like color scheme at the ends was actually last-minute. Instead of keeping its regular yellowish color, I decided to use the pinkish color from its pre-XY icon, but keep the old color alive by coloring some of its patterns in that color.

Inspiration: I take from Mulan's Mushu and the "Dragon Warrior" concept in Kung Fu Panda. The bigger contributor is the latter, since remembering the "dragon warrior" somehow made me associate it to Mienshao and its latent potential to possess Dragon traits.

Inspiration: It came from two ideas. 1) the legend of the Bhutan flying tiger that flew Guru Rinpoche to Bhutan to spread his teachings of Buddhism (the tiger is depicted as a very bearded feline, so the whiskers come from that), since Arcanine looks like a mix of a tiger and dog, and 2) the theory that Arcanine was originally planned to be in the bird trio and not Moltres, hence the wings.

Inspiration: So mayyyybe I took some of the designs from two forms of Sailor Moon (Eternal and Super)...I'm just that obsessed with the series at the moment. That aside, I wanted to her to give off a "mysterious woman" vibe by turning her whole exo-facial features into a mask of the dead, which also fits her ghost typing. After all, the dex says she could be a long-lost woman who reincarnated as a Froslass.

I also brought back its old body color from the GSC days, while also using a bit of the pinkish tint from its GS sprite. To show its Fire typing, I made her leaf dress look withered (Perfect for the fall season, I must add!)
