Finally let out of the hospital, the first thing you did was get ready for the dangerous journey ahead of you. You waited until your parents went out of town again first. You knew this whole preparation was stupid. You knew. With every little cough you just knew this was dumb.

But you also knew you had to charge into this head-on if there was any chance of you getting what you wanted. You had to be reckless.

For the truth.

For your family.

For your brother.

But mostly, so you no longer felt so powerless.

You weren't sure if the strange hallucinations were what caused you to feel powerless, reckless, or both, but you didn't care. As you've told yourself many times, you needed answers. And you needed them now.

What you decided to bring with you was a bottle of water, a chest cam so that you didn't need to grow a third arm, and a sickle that was in the shed in the back from when your mom was a very dedicated gardener for you knew you'd need force for this job. You also put on your bike helmet, just in case. You couldn't risk another blow to the head.

Hopefully he didn't have a gun.

Hopefully he wasn't completely lying when he said he had a crush on you and you'd get out alive.

You leave your family's property and turn on the camera. You knew where you wanted to go and made a b-line for the abandoned building. After you get so close to it, you could hear the sound again.

The electronic buzz-like sound.

Swallowing down your fear, you open the door slowly and stay to the side. After a few seconds, you peek in. The main room's empty.

You step in, avoiding as much of the rubble as you can to minimize the noise you make. Seeing as how this time you weren't falling to the ground, you take a moment to examine your area. It almost looked like an old, abandoned dorm room. Maybe built for troublemakers or something. But, that was almost nonsensical. This building looked and felt older than the collage.

You get pulled from your thoughts by a creak sound behind you. You turn around quickly and see a new doorway. Good. Another room.

That's probably where the ass is hiding.

You inch over, unsure whether you should have your sickle ready or not. Peeking in, you can't help but notice this room is darker. You put your head into the doorway and see the silhouette. He is currently in The Observer mode. Which probably means... You look behind you.

Yep.

Observer symbol.

He already knows you're there.

And chances are he expects you to be armed.

Which means he's just waiting for you to make a move.

Which is exactly what you do.

You step in a little more fairly quickly and splash water onto the chalk drawn symbol.

You turn around at the same time he whips around.

"So, (Y/N)," He says calmly, even though his actions and position say otherwise. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

For some reason, that phrase fills you with anger and sadness. You lunge yourself at him and pin him to the wall, sickle at his neck.

"Why are you doing this, Kevin!" You shout at him. "Or, Observer. Or, whatever!"

He grins like a mad genius. "I don't know, (Y/N), why am I doing this? You're a smart girl; You tell me."

You glare at him, fighting the tears as well as the want to cut his throat open right now. You are smart, but your emotions do get the better of you at times.

"B-because I was a g-good sister..." You finally choke out, voice wavering.

He growls loudly at your answer. "MⓍrⓍn!" He shouts, static filling the air and making you flinch. "Call it what you will, but this is all happening because YⓍU DIDN'T LISTEN TⓍ ME!!" After that outburst, he looks away as much as the sickle to his neck will allow.

"Oh, yeah?" You begin your turn to outburst. "And why would that've mattered? Your boss would've found me anyway, wouldn't he? You made me know and recognize your real look and face, forced me to hang out with you almost constantly, and what do I learn? THAT THE MAN WHO I FELL IN LOVE WITH IS THE SECOND MOST RESPONSIBLE FOR MY LIFE GOING BACK TO HELL!!"

Your tears finally start escaping your eyes as you try to not look away or close them. The Observer guise lessens and starts to fade into Kevin for a bit before snapping back. He then glares for a bit before closing his eyes.

Your sadness temporarily disappearing completely and becoming pure rage, you unpin him and attempt to cut his arm. He manages to dodge it, but just barely.

"I would suggest not hurting me." He says to you in a voice that seemed to combine his normal voice and his work voice before teleporting away.

You fall to the floor exhausted. Your mind has been made up.

Love him or not, he had to pay. He did wrong. And if making him pay meant making him bleed and you cry, so be it.

Your brother's death will not be in vain.
