Description After around 60+ hours I finished her. There are areas that I really dont like and other that I really do, but that is the same with nearly every piece I do lol. This is the 2nd piece out of 4 each one to represent the seasons, I have yet to do Spring and Autum

maggie this is so beuatiful saw it for the first time early this morning at the fae and loved it this will look so beautiful in the book,beuatiful detailed pencilwork!!

Thanks Katerina Its very weird doing work especially for a book, the Dragon Queen was picked out of a few that I had already done but these seem to be harder for some reason, so I hope they all look ok when they are finished

WOW! I love the shadeing! I love how your eyes go right to hers. They are so beautiful. The first thing I thought of was Linda Revenscroft. If you like this stule of fantasy, you should really check her out, she's amazing! I wish my hair looked like THAT!

Ohhh your the first person to mention Linda yes I know her work Im a huge fan and I have a signed copy of her book, and I was greatly influenced by her style for this piece

Yup, Im so lucky, she lives near my Mum, and they have a Linda Ravenscroft orginal portrait on their wall, next to one of my paintings, which is so cool

gorgeous Maggie, the face is still my favorite part
The only thing I can say is that I would have added a warm backgroundcolor, because the grey/white gives it a cold feeling. But that's just a minor thing Still awsome work !!

Ohhh Im so glad you think it is cold. This pic is going in a book for seasonal faries, but she is also in my own personal series of dark faries, and she is not happy about being chosen to be Summer thats why she isnt smiling hehehehehe The dark tat gives her away once it was a sun now she has a half moon in the tat as do all of my darker fariers

Thanks Elly , she did not start out so elaborate, but the more I coloured the more the leaves started to appear and then more flowers and ribbons and hair, thats why it took ages coz I kept adding to the hair, Im glad I finished it at last
