Today I've been a doll owner for three months. E.T. came to me (top pic) August 21, and it was the happiest moment I had had for a long time. I only had him an unfinished shirt, a pair of shoes, a wig I'd made myself, a pair of glass eyes and a knitted hat I'd made. Seems like such a long time ago.
Nowadays he's spoiled as crazy, and he has the looks he's supposed to have. All missing are some tattoos and some piercings, and then I just have to think about making him the most awesome outfits ever ;3 I'm so ridonculus happy I got the sculpt I wanted, than something much cheaper and not as pretty. I'm totally hooked into this hobby now. Yay?

Awh, thank you so very much. He was my first BJD and thus my oldest. He's turning two and a half years in February and he really is my most precious one. I don't show him much I've noticed, but I think that's because I'm in less need to get "approval" of him by people, and I'm just happy that he's mine and no one elses :3 Thank you so, so much, your comment is really warming

I love Souldoll's manly sculpts - with or without faceup, they never look girly. Too bad they don't follow this policy with their 1/3 line, only with a few dolls. ;__; I had a Killian once, he was manly too but his head was so small he couldn't fit in my dolly family so I had to sell him but I still miss his beautiful face. *sob*

Aaawh, that's so sad with your Killian, but I agree. Their faces are smaller than many other sculpts in the same size, and Souldoll really knows how to make them :3 I'm currently waiting for another SD-doll, in 1/4 size. I really hope he'll fit with my Lester sculpt xD

And I know what you mean with falling all over. I've been working much on my latest doll, since I'm still trying to find his way and style, and whenever I pick E.T. up nowadays, I just stare at him. Real dumbfounded stare xD "Oh holy cow, I knew you were beautiful but I completely forgot just HOW beautiful you actually were..." That face is DARN PERFECT. I just wish he was in a tad bigger size x)
(Speaking of which, sorry, a bit OT or something, but have you seen that hybrid with Lester and one of DCs SD-bodies? Like the 70cm or something? It actually doesn't look quite THAT bad, proportionwise, so if the body hadn't been not of my liking it would have solved the height issue xD But yeah, completely OT, I just felt like sharing ._____. *don't know when to stop*)

Daaaaammmnnnn I think I found the pics...but that DC body is so squalid! I never liked DC odd bodies, specially male bodies... I think our Lesters are too handsome for that body! The proportion is OK thou. LOL Β Wow... I never thought of getting him an SD body! I love the idea!
