This is so detailed and imaginative. I really love the way the tree influences the environment, from the branch giving way to a stone path, to the gnarled vines living off of the tree.

isn't it amazing to think that someone else could conjure up an entire different idea of what the environment looked like in the book.

Indojo, you must be extremely busy, and I apologize but I must request again could you please, even in sketches, try depicting characters or aliens from the Commonwealth universe created by ADF? I've seen many art work over the years and I'm a sci-fi fan and I love art work from all over the world, but as, Star Wars (1977) movie introduced fresh new concepts, as created by the late, great Mr. Ralph McQuarrie, under the direction of a young George Lucas (early 30s) and, I always felt that the Flinx and Pip stories, just the way ADF has crafted HIS own story, it could easily be a kind of relative of Star Wars, a distant cousin, if you will, it has it's own distinctive qualities.

I apologize for this request, but I feel I must say something to initiate something.

This looks so alien, it freaks me out. The colors help give so much depth, and the strangeness of the planets really drives home that "Hey, this is Midworld. Watch your step." I almost expect to see a furcot poke their snout around the corner. XD Nice work!

Flinx and Pip novels after "Mid-Flinx" indirectly involve Midworld. A good example is in "Exceptions To Reality"; the last chapter is a short story involving Flinx's ship and some plants he took from Midworld. It's very weird, but thought-provoking.

well, i just started mid-flinx, as my first
flinx novels. i heard he is escaping to midworld there.

He is, and trouble is, of course, following him. It does that a lot.

Once you're done, look up with the prequel "For Love of Mother-Not" to read about Flinx's childhood. It's really fascinating to see him grow up and meet Pip. ^n_n^
