Its only cliche if you think it so... I love the grey tones contrasting with the colour and the disappearing to a point perspective. Just a great composition.

love the dominance of blue in this picture. It really sets the tone of dreaminess in this picture great work.

I get a feeling of stillness...ominous, cold sadness.
Yet some hope within the vivid colour of the leaves.
Amazing photo Mark

I love the fallen leaves and the depth of the photo. Not to mention the colour of the leaves against the bleak grey of stone.

Did you have to adjust for lens distortion? 12mm is pretty wide, but your verticals are perfect.

this spot reminds me of a scene from "the legend of fong say yuk" starring jet li.. he whooped some ass using a crapload of katanas to kill some chinese cats (like a hundred of them) in an alleyway just like that one.

true -- a fitting photo --- for those that have gone by -- like the colours captured and the angle you chose from where to take the photo -- later days

a great picture!
I love both the great dof and tones.
The leaves seem to come from another world as those walls close the scene so well one could never expect to see a tree (or traces of a tree) there.
good job man!
