What a cool field to take pictures in. I like the composition...it has a nice feel to it. This is the SX-70 again, yes?
Just wondering (if you don't mind sharing) what model your SX-70 is...I looked on eBay but saw different variations...are they all essentially the same?

no , they are not the same. Go for the Alpha 1 model. thats the one I got! this is a model with SLR functionality , which means that you see is exactly the picture you get. You can be sure to get this function if there is no opening but the lens, when you look at the camera from the front. There ia also the "alpha" model, which is the first model of them all, but this is pretty rare, and dont has a tripod sucket.
Both of these have vinyl and metal bodies
Model 2, has the same function but has a plastic body.
Model 3, has not SLR and you has to focus by scale. this is (as far as I know) only in black plastic
There are different editions of them all (exclusive edition, golden edition etc.)
But I suggest that you buy one af the Alphas. Its an fantastic camera.. and dont mind giving a lot of money of them. They are as much a collecters item, as they are a camera.
Be sure that the camera is in good condition!
