Raised alongside her older brother Devon, Piper’s life has been steeped in the shedu cat training and racing culture. Thanks to her parents being trainers and teaching both their kids the same thing, she even gets to participate in it actively. That coupled with an awesome relationship with her family, life couldn’t be better for the young woman.

She always loved interacting with the various cats her parents trained for clients and boarders, and was overjoyed the few times her parents allowed the family itself to have a cat. The greatest influence in her life, however, was undoubtedly Devon. He always pushed and teased her, usually inciting various contests between the two. It was all in good fun.

Upon hearing her brother decide he wanted to be an actual jockey though, Piper couldn’t help but think that that was an excellent idea. Being five years younger put a bit of a damper on her initial bravado, but her parents encouraged her to keep helping them with upkeep and training for clients. She suffered through the grunt work, begrudgingly appreciating the time she spent with the cats. However, when her parents started allowing her to ride the cats for actual training and not just for safe jaunts? She took off with the freedom and has yet to look back. Once experienced enough, Piper joined her brother in the ranks of jockeys and eagerly awaits the perfect cat to carry her to victory. Even if she has to spend all her savings to buy that cat herself.
