I've chosen a chinese/tibetan monastery in the mountains as topic for our internal concept art training at Meduzarts (www.meduzarts.com)Entirely painted in Photoshop, I've started from a rough line drawing. I've spent approx. 16 hours, while recording the first 6 hours with Camtasia.
The original measures 3400x1692.

Love your work, this piece is amazing
After staring at it for a long time the only possible critique I can come up with is that I think if the sky was a bit more blue it would bring out the red roofs nicely and make the piece a bit more vibrant

Peaceful afternoon light and the texture of everything, especially the cliffs, is so realistic and stunning. Reminds me of the League of Shadows headquarters in Batman Begins.
