Hi there!It took me quite a long time to decide where to put this matte painting.
Finally it ended up here in the digital painting section, since I had more paint work to do then manipulation.
I think it's a good mix between photo manipulation and digital painting. 50/50
The character is Sophie Collier aka lockstock ([link] )! Thank you!
It's entirely done with Photoshop CS. (yes, it's still the old version!)

While the view is quite amazing, you're too heavy-handed on the bloom effect. The image ends up being too bright and tending to white. This effect is especially noticeable for instance right where the tree's branches start, between the main trunk and branch there's a really bright section of mountain that just looks fake and bad.
I'd give this image a 3.5/5.
