Hi there!Yet another concept painting, which shows a polluted environment in an imho interesting lighting condition.
The concept sketch took me about 3 hours in Photoshop @ 3k. Quick'n dirty!
I started from scratch and finally overlayed some
textures from animax.it to add some details.
It's a great resource for free textures ... I only can recommend it!
The clouds and smoke-fx are all painted in photoshop cs.
Critiques and comments are always welcome!

This is conceptual art at its finest. Not only is it a beautiful depiction of our future, it is a grim one as well, being that the beauty and the danger are inescapably linked. Wonderfully executed. I can't wait until this hits the print shop, unless of course it already has.

... i have no words for this i have no idea how you can do this, its simply amazing. the detail is incredible. great concept, tone, and composition. its a masterpiece. however the left tall building on the right side looks like its leaning wierd though...

Not too good at describing. But the two buildings on the right. The far right looks like its leaning away from me the other looks like its leaning towards me. But definately an amazing piece of work for the +fav. And I dont know about anybody else, but to me it looks a bit like it has been painted as if the place is actually on this planet

This is a fantastic piece, beautifully achieved and definately something you should have as an example of portfolio work as I think you should try go into the industry as a background artist.
The only issue I have with it, is that structure on the far right with the two cylindrical towers? It's pipework and the shadows cast from the pipework look visably mirrored, as the shadows appear at the wrong angle...
Aside from that, brilliant work.

The minute i saw this and the details i said to myself .... this deserves a DD. i have been watching ur work and i have to say ur skills with digital painting is one of the best i have seen so far. u have captured not just an industrial feel but also a life like environment and above all, this piece has a meaning.....well done and keep up the great work

Industrial is the word that pops in my mind when seeing this picture. It's very well done and the whole feeling is impressive at first sight, but also a bit depressive... cause I don't think there would be anyone who'd like to live there... In such a polluted enviroment...

nice work. only one small thing .. the clouds don't seem to be moving very real ... there are certain parts there it seems they are moving in opposite directions from the ones comming out of the chimnies (did i spell that correctily?)
