Hi there!Yet another concept painting, which shows a polluted environment in an imho interesting lighting condition.
The concept sketch took me about 3 hours in Photoshop @ 3k. Quick'n dirty!
I started from scratch and finally overlayed some
textures from animax.it to add some details.
It's a great resource for free textures ... I only can recommend it!
The clouds and smoke-fx are all painted in photoshop cs.
Critiques and comments are always welcome!

A beautiful work of art. I love the overwhelming and ominous feeling I get from the piece. It feels like I'm in a Sci-fi world. I sincerely hope the environment doesn't turn out this way one day.

Pollution is deffinately a big problem, but your pic makes it looks so beuatiful

That's incredible. It reminds me a lot of Seattle. When coming over the bridge from west seattle into the city they have an industrial area like that with a couple big structures and a dome. Its all white cement though, I like the dark concept a lot. Looks like a lot of work. Awesome talent

Really love the piece -
however to me it seems as tho the left tower of the two linked mid-height towers on the right is leaning forwards while the right one is going straight up or backwards!!!! The top dome on it is fine - its just the shadowing/curves of the main body of it... or was that deliberate to go against the grain of the rest of the perspective?
Smokey orange sky colour and drawing is fabulous. And impressed by the level of detail on the towers!

In the thumbnail preview it looks like something out of Star Wars. But now that I see it up close...it's scary. I hope our world doesn't become that...(I'm in an Enviro club so yeah...it scares me.)

Finally the master of artificial environment finished a new work. Again you made a very nice piece I really like the dark industial touch altough Fjord and the Wintervillage were more something that'd fit my interests. This pic is nice and gloomy and I think I'll keep it as wallpaper for sometime cause it makes me feel at ease since I really like such futuristic visions of decay.
