Hi there!Yet another "against-the-light" matte painting.
I want to show off a post apocalyptic destroyed cityscape, maybe after a war.
It's done with Photoshop CS and After Effects.
I kept the buildings in several layers and added fog in between.
Finally I rendered a camera pullback in After Effects with a previous version of the matte.
Please use "save target as ...", since I haven't optimised the clips for streaming:

The lights in the city are a clear indication that there is hope for survivors.

but i see the lights in the back buildings, you should have put some electric wires with lightnings in the front broken buildings !

So a couple of days ago I bought a book called Wastelands: Stories of the Apocalypse. It is an anthology of post apocalyptic short stories. When it arrived 10 minutes ago the cover seemed very familiar to me. And it should have it was in my favorites on Deviant Art !
