Description
I was asked (actually I offered haaa ) to make a tutorial on humansSo I made a tiny one with just the upper torso and arms/face cause I can't do much else well myself oops
Remember: I myself am not that good at anatomy in some sense. Each person is different and anatomy depends on each individual. THIS IS JUST HOW /I/ DO IT. EVERYONE DOES ANATOMY DIFFERENTLY. I'M JUST HOPING THIS CAN GIVE A FEW HELPFUL TIPS. DONT USE JUST ONE ANATOMY TUTORIAL. USE MANY!
Steps Explained:
1: Basic lines. Pretty much the inner skeleton and motion lines. I personally dont use them much anymore, but defiantly good for beginners!!
2: Flesh it out some. Remember this is just the torso right now! The amount of "fleshing" depends on your character's body type! My character, Timmy, is slightly bigger than most of my other oc's, so I give him less arches in his back and thicker hips.
3: I use two oval like shapes to judge the biceps and forearms of my characters. Although I only do this when I'm trying to be careful, it's still a nice judge. The size of said ovals again depends on character. Timmy has larger muscles in his forearms and not his biceps, giving him larger ovals as forearms.
4: Flesh em out. Once again depends on character. Where the ovals connect is where the elbow should be and is indented a tiny bit.
5: Final details! Add what you want, where you want it.
