This piece is a special one. On March 1, 2024, Akira Toriyama passed away. He is the mastermind behind the popular Dragon Ball franchise.When I was a kid, I used to watch the original Dragon Ball as well as Dragon Ball Z. I also used to draw Dragon Ball characters pretty regularly, a couple of my older friends will vouch for that. I even got to the point where I created my own characters.
It's because of this I essentially learned how to draw people, and has led me to where I am today. His art inspired me and became the fundamental foundation of my art.
I dedicate this piece to him. R.I.P. Mr. Toriyama.
