working with more animation! took me a while because when i started this months ago it would take about 15 min per frame but today it went down to about 3 min per frame n i finished it! definitely gonna do more animations in the future now that the process is faster 0w-cRelated content

Well I looked up tips/settings that make the render time shorter, not sure what effects it with my computer because at first I did about 5 frames and they were 10 min each and then I tried again another day and they were down to 3 min each. I’ve noticed that with animation (even with big cgi movies) you’re basically making a stop motion, and each frame is just a second in the movie/animation. I’ve tried to render a full video (because compressing all the images together for a video takes a while) and it usually crashes my computer. The main thing that’s helped was lowering the samples in the render settings it’s usually at about 10-20,000 samples but I think this animation I had it at about 2-400. If I ever get a higher powered computer I’d probably still use about 1,000 max because it looks about the same after that. I also didn’t use a lighting system, not sure what it’s called but that’s lighting that’s only visible in the render but not having it in the scene somehow lowers the production time.
