Her original costume. Not the skirt one, the full suit purple one jumpsuit ninja attire pants one. On one side has the tengu mask complete with red eyes. Looks very cool

The costume is a purple-and-black shinobi shōzoku with a fishnet vest, arm-guards, tabi-style boots with flower pattern shinguards, and a metal mask tied around her waist with rope.

Ayane's costumes are unlocked in the order listed, regardless of the difficulty and mode played. For the tag team option, both characters will unlock a costume, and all of the costumes can be unlocked even from courses that were already cleared.

At the start of the game, Ayane has 22 (23 for the Steam version) costumes, with 12 (thirteen for Steam) being available from the start, and the remaining 10 costumes being unlocked through either Arcade Mode, Time Attack Mode, or Survival Mode.
With the release of the downloadable costumes, Ayane currently has 49 (48 for Steam) different DLC costumes, adding her current total up to 71 costumes.

The costume is a black tunic with the crest of the Hajinmon sect, black-and-grey bodysuit, matching sleeves and tights, armored tabi-style shoes, and a set of black armor.
