as far as I can tell stock was the only option, I chose not to have my pictures downloadable because they are in fact of me and I would hate for them to end up somewhere else with no credit to the photographer or myself

When you put things into the stock category, people are going to use them for reference and photomanipulation because that's what the category is for -- free use for others (and some paid use.)

You're going to want to change your category in the future if you don't want people to use them -- probably to Photography> People, and then from there the category of the picture is up to you.

This way, people can admire your photos and understand they're not supposed to use them!
(figured I'd kind of clarify, since the post below was kind of confusing.)

THen there not stock because stock on DA is for art to be use .  Everyone post rules  eg credit me.  LInk back .  Must include  artist name.   eg trying59.deviantart.com/art/ni…     she wanted a link back to here page and got it .   www.deviantart.com/photography… is where stuff that isn't stock but nude etc should go.    If all you doing is promoting you modeling then without allow use then dont post in stock you ll end up with artist using it  .
