Personality:

Loud, opinionated and straightforward. Is a little short-tempered. Has the tendency to climb through windows disregard of how high the building is, thus her legs has been a really great asset which assists her a lot during her battle. (What she does with her powerful legs are for you to find out ) And of course, with this sort of habit, "ladder", "stairs" and "staircase" are not in her vocabulary. Despite being rude and sometimes a real pain in the backside, people still like her because they know she know what she've said, and she mean it. Though some people bear some resentment towards her for being too honest.

Background:

Shizu is born in a normal Shizawa family whose parent does blacksmithing - forging weapons and fighting tools. Being the only child in the family, her parents are strict with her upbringing and wishes her to continue the family legacy of weapon forging; and that causes Shizu to have developed a fascination towards weapons and anything that is razor sharp and pointy, not to mention her tomboyish attitude. After watching her parent forging weapons everyday (especially her dad), by the age of 15 she has been given the permission to forge by her dad and the result: her customised Yari, a 2-side bladed spear with retractable chain at the end of her spear.

Her reason? She thinks spear suited her well.

While knowing spear is only meant for close-ranged weapon, she added the retractable chain at the end of her spear to aid her in case she's engaged in a middle and long-ranged battle. While yari is used for thrusting armour, she switched the pointy blade to 2-sided blade because she thinks thrusting alone is no fun.

Fighting Style

Her 15th birthday not only marked her as a certified blacksmith, but also to determine what fighting style will she be learning. After forging her own version of yari, her dad understood the meaning and sent her to learn under a Sojutsu Master in her village so she could not only forge weapons for people, but also learn to use the weapon she has forged.

Eventually she mastered Sojutsu, but being aware of her powerful legs, she developed her own fighting style which she calls it "Skyhigh Tempest". At first she developed the techniques just for the fun of it, but after her dad was murdered during her 16th birthday has pushed her to perfect her "Skyhigh Tempest" style and she was set on revenging her father, but eventually dropped the idea due to her laziness, and as what she later regarded as "not-profitable at all". o.O Instead she focuses on rebuilding her family business with her mother. Not until she gets herself tangled into the SDL world...
