Something I had made last year but forgot to upload. The R10 series Astromech droid was a very ambitious project meant to be the next in the R series droids. It was said to be able to memorize 100 sets of hyperspace coordinates and had a built in shield generator. It was meant to be a truly multipurpose droid. Unfortunately the droid did not live up to it's expectations. The shield generator used up all of the droids energy in minutes and the hyperspace coordinates were often incorrect.The droid also commonly came with a lazy personality that was difficult to reprogram. This droid sold much more poorly then the R5 unit and only 78 models were made before Industrial Automation decided to retire the R series line entirely and replaced it with the BB Unit.
