Here we go, a battle of the Water Mega Starter! The Hoenn Starter vs Kanto Starter, Mega Swampert Vs. Mega Blastoise!
Took a while on working this one, the Hydro Canon is much harder than Flamethrower I have create on Sunrise Heat, Mega Charizard Y Vs. Mega Blaziken awhile back.
Well, really love with the result, and the Background is pretty good for me. But, the sea need more improvements, I gess...

My money is on mega blastoise. Has higher base speed even in his standard form, and he has access to scald and dark pulse. Which means burn/flinching!

♐️No way. Mega Swampert literally has the highest base power out of all the mega evolutions! It's also the only starter who has one weakness, and it can easily deal with that by learning an ice move!

Yes, but none of those moves are super effective against mega Blastoise who while he does have two weaknesses, they aren't quad weaknesses like Swamperts crippling fear of grass. Plus when it comes to abilities and movepools, mega Blastoise has it, and I can explain why!
Unlike mega Swampert, Blastoise has immediate access and useability of his mega ability, mega launcher as opposed to mega Swamperts swift swim, which would require him to set up a rain dance the first turn, letting Blastoise take the first shot for free without damage. And with the massive leap in special attack upon mega evolution, scald and getting that first turn for free, Blastoise could just burn Swampert in addition to taking off a decent chunk of his health because of a few factors: Swampert taking neutral damage due to being part ground, Blastoise's aforementioned sp.atk leap+STAB, and getting boosted by the rain Swampert himself setup.
Blastoise doesn't need to overpower Swampert, he just needs to run out the clock while the burn takes him.

♐️If Mega Swampert does get burned, it can just cool off in the ocean that just so happens to be right there, but besides that, Mega Swampert is tough enough to lift a boulder, plus it has higher HP and attack, and thanks to the organs on Mega Swampert being filled with air, it can deliver better punches, and it has the body of a hulk. If it's tough enough to drag a boulder weighing over a ton, Mega Swampert can totally beat Mega Blastoise.
Also, if they were to fight in the ocean, Mega Swampert could swim faster because it actually has a fin, and no cannons to hold it back.

Sadly the Hoenn remake is still on November, I really can't wait for it though. XD
