IT IS A BIRD STARTER!!!The Grass starter is SOOO KAWAII~~!
It looks so cute!!
My first time. I always choose Fire Starter since gen 1 for my fave and everythime I play the game for first time. But for this gen, I think I am gonna take Rowlet instead of Litten. I am sure, Litten would be very cool later, but who knows?
Rowlet and evos will be Grass Flying, but I am guessing Litten will be Fire Dark. The Water one, I think Water-Ice in later evos?

I think the typing for the staters might be, litten: Fire/dark or poison, poplio: water/fighting or fairy, rowlet: I know that it has been confirmed that rowlet is a grass/flying type but it might change types as it evolves, I find a grass and gohst type would be both fitting and cool

Both Torchic and Piplup evolve in non-flying pokémon.. At least, I hope that Rowlet will remain flying type!!
