Así que... dragonfoxgirl ... Cuando DeviantArt me avisó que se acercaba tu cumpleaños, te compré un regalo muy lindo (o al menos algo que a mí me gustaría que me regalen), pero un par de días despues de tu cumpleaños, ya que nunca nos vemos para que pueda entregarte tu regalo, decidí hacerte algo que pudiera entregar digitalmente. Espero que esto alcance hasta que tenga alguna oportunidad de entregarte el regalo que te compré.
Este retrato ya estaba terminado desde la semana pasada, pero estuve con problemas existenciales como "Que va a pensar de mí esta persona, cuando yo diga que fuí a su Tumblr y guardé una foto suya en mi disco duro, para hacer esto?" y tambien "No tengo espacio y necesito desconectar mi internet para conectar mi scanner, pero estoy usando mi internet"; pero ahora ya está aqui.

Portrait over this special kind of cardboard I know as "cartulina de hilo"

Pencils: 2B, 5B; also some charcoal. I planned to use my always trusty HB pencil to do everything, but it was not visible on the material, so I had to use these pencils I have had since years ago but never really used. I shouldn't really experiment with new techniques and materials when I'm doing something meant to be given to someone else. It's due to my inexperience with those pencils that the drawing has a lot of grey splotches all over the place, that maybe are not that visible in the scan, but with the physical drawing in front of me I can notice very well.

Time spent: Four days. But would have been like one day if not for that hair, that is everywhere, blurring all boundaries. Seriously, I had to scrap at least one try at drawing because of the problems caused by the hair, and finally had to swallow my pride and unseal a forbidden technique to get what you are seeing as a final result.

I hate the way I did the eyes. They ended up like that because I was working with little light. The light over my computer is not working, and I needed to be in front of the computer to draw.
