Myali, hide and seek between white clouds are cheating. 8UJust wait till nightfall and Baka will get you. 8I
I must say I never really believed I'd ever get done with this.
I started the picture back in 2011. 12.02.2011 – 19:42:15 to be exact. (good cs keeping track of time for me) xD
But then I wanted to update Myali's ref before I finished this, and then.. well I got other stuff to do.
I've tried to add to it at a later point too, but I never really got anywhere with it.
Anyway, when I got to it now, I almost gave up, as I didn't really want to re-shade Myali, as that practically meant drawing her again, but her shading was so light that it was impossible to shade Baka.
But though I forgot the story behind the picture itself, I remember that I found it really important to do, so quitting would make me feel bad.
It goes something like this; why is these different characters in the same picture? I don't remember, but thanks for cheering me up during an entire winter depression.
And yes, I've said before that I don't really do giftart, but this was before that time. xD
Beside, I do make exceptions.
Several actually.
I just never get to it.
So Baka (the black dragon) bellongs to ~TheFailedDream
Myali (the white) to Me
I'll try to see if I can move the picture further back in my gallery so it would fit about the time. 8I

This is stunning, fabulously gorgeous..and every positive word I can possible say about this!
The expression is just so calm and playfull at the same time, but still does such a good job portraying the personality of the character.

I must admit I have abandoned that technique of drawing clouds with smudge since I did the background of this, but it does really have some nice points.

I think this is really the only way to really befriend her. As she really loves a challenge, but this is the only one where you don't have to hurt each other.
Not that you get so friendly with her in this either though.
And I had a rest not so long after I started it. Then half a year later I drew more, and took a rest till now. I guess the clouds didn't take me more than some hours though. 8I

However she's never really lonely.
Kyrfex might not have met her as he was all on fighting Myali, but she is usually never far away.
Except that my break was because I did other stuff in the meantime.
but who knows if baka likes shark meat

Baka is not my character, but I know what it means, and as I'm aware it is after that she was named.
But you could ask the owner.

Anywa, the dragon I talked about earlier was Hen'aiy.
She's Myalis friend and he reason myali is so ... different... from the others of her specie.
