Again connected with these two guys -
This time Logan, the cob IVS got from , let's just say he's a more troublesome fellow than Carlos. XD

Logan hadn't had a good start, he had come from SsH, who had rescued him from a bad home, which also soon became very obvious.
Still everyon at IVS had faith in the cob stallion become a good riding horse one day, if only he was trained with enough patience.

Being agressive towards other stallions Logan soon lost, whenever he met Cocaine. The stallions' ancient lead stallion so far had had every new guy bow to his will within half a day and also Logan soon gave in. Still withdrawn and very often standing solitary, he however did not attack any of the other stallion unprovoked, like he had done when he first had come to IVS and right away earned the youngsters Leonard and Sheldon a good couple of bites in the rear.

Hugh began working with Logan, who only responded rather skepticly and grumpiely to Hugh's patient moves, yet after some time couldn't deny the human who seemed to know his body language well a bit of respect. It took them all a lot of work, but after what seemed an eternaty, they had Logan far enough to have him wear a saddle and bridle without trying to bite off the hands of the one saddling him, but merely keep to showing his angriest of angry faces during the procedure.

So, one day Jack was longing Logan saddled and bridled in the round-pen. The stallion responded nicely and seemed in a good mood, which made Jack develope the idea of trying to maybe take a little ride on him. Sure, Hugh had said no. Sure, the stallion was very moody. Sure, there was nobody else around. But same time. They'd all make such a stupid face, if he'd tell them he actually rode Logan today.

Well, as per usual, the hunger for adventure got the better of Jack. He put the reigns on Logan's bridle and without many further thoughts, mounted the cob. Logan first merely gave him his usual angry face, but aside that letting himself being pushed into a walk. Jack feeling awesome. Pft. Hugh was being far too careful, that worked wonderfully, didn't it?

It did. Until Jack decided to bring Logan into a trot. The stallion imidiatly shooting off like a rocket, when he felt Jack's legs lightly press his sides. Bucking and rearing Logan showed himself as world's first rodeo cob. Jack however keeping on his back, trying his best to calm the stallion down again, yet, it only made Logan turn more hysteric and furious about the matter.
And with the lightning speed of a hysteric horse's thoughts, the cob suddenly decided to jump out of the round pen! Before Jack could do anything, he already saw the wall approching, the cob leaping as high as he could.
Yet, the wall was too high, Logan getting stuck with his legs, summersaulting over the wall, finally setting Jack flying off his back!
"SHIIII . . .", was all Jack hissed as the two of them flew over the round-pen's wall and with a thud landed on the hard, rocky ground outside it.
