Even though the staff was very worried about Hattie and the new Schrei, Fang, the entire day absolutely nothing happened.
Hattie stayed with the other mares on their meadow and Fang made himself comfortable in his paddock.
It was decided that he'd stay in it for the night, near the house, just to make sure nothing would happen. Afterall everybody knew Hattie's firm rule and what happened to those not willing to obey her and with the Schrei, who hadn't grown up here, nobody knew how he'd react to the dominant disturbed nightmare.

Fang cared little about all this, he found his new home fairly nice, so far. The humans were really decent and the food was good, which was a nice start.
It was the very middle of the night however, that he found a singular, strangely glowing orb hoovering over to his paddock.
Mesmerized the lupe stared at the glowing object, all of the sudden feeling an odd urge grow inside him to follow this thing. It was beautiful, he needed to go with it.

Taking the fence was no problem for the agile creature. He then trotted after the orb in trance, following it a good distance away from the IVS estate, on a wide open meadow that was covered with snow. The sky was a deep midnight blue and full of stars and all of the sudden the orb let Fang out of it's charm and the lupe realized he was no longer in his paddock.

Looking around quite baffled, he then spotted the glowing orb again, floating over to two more that were gently hoovering about a single mare standing on the meadow. The lupe pinned back his ears among realizing the situation and growled,
"Nightmare! You charmed me to come here!"
"Of course I did, darling. This is none of the humans' business, no matter what they think.", the nightmare said, tossing her wild, fiery orange mane a bit.

"What do you want?", the Schrei sneered, he wasn't one for silly games.
"I know your kind, Schreitier. I know you don't obey a ruler who has not proven themselves. Well, these are my lands and everyone living here is mine, too. You all belong to me and do just as I please.", the nightmare said, baring her fangs somewhat.
"Is that so?", huffed the lupe, "What if I don't want to obey you?"
The nightmare laughed,
"I knew you would say that, handsome and that's also why I already was looking forward to this all day.", she said, flicking her tail, while slowly starting to approach the Schrei, who began growling threateningly.

The nightmare merely grinned, while challengingly stating,
"Come. Try me."

Hattie welcomes Fang with a good old bashing. Ah, isn't that always refreshing? XD Let's hope he'll give in and not end up with a outstandingly short career on IVS. XD
And I knew I forget Hattie's feathers. XD
I might add them later. XD
