splendid work. abstract expressionism. I do similar work. Is that acrylic or oil?

Very nice! The vibrant color is full of movement. I love abstraction because of the viewer participation in the peice. In a paiting of a sailboat, everyone sees the sailboat or whatever still life may be set up, BUT, in abstraction one must look harder to find their own imagery. I see shoes, and tongues and stars and tracks, flowers, eggs, strawberries and so much more, all of which are parts of my memory which I have found by examing color, line, shape and the memory of you, and your imagery as you saw it! Gotta fave! Congrats on the DD, well earned!

I love the outrageous use of colors - ALL of them - and that it's all squiggly. Makes my eyes sort of hurt after a while...great job!

Interesting. Everything is random and different. One part of it doesn't stand out any more than another.

This is a gorgeously busy piece. The subtle repetitions of shape and form and the broad color palette used create an odd harmony - I don't get lost, and can see the piece for both its whole and its parts, which is a wonderful thing. From a triangular perspective, the painting's focus point appears to be slightly right and up of center, which is in turn balanced by the fairly linear column of shapes along the left-hand side. Choosing to draw the eye through an "X" type of pattern could easily make for a "bulls-eye" effect, but the work avoids that pitfall, much to its (and our) benefit. Though I'd like a bit more depth in the piece, I suspect part of that want is due to the medium - to see it in person would likely give me different perspective. I can see parts of Klimt in this, if I'ma tryin, but really the first person I thought of was Chuck Close - the circles, in particular, are similar to his style, though I think you've pushed the form to an interesting place, if indeed Close was an influence. Lots of Picasso in there, too. In any case, this is a fine painting, and well-deserving of attention.
