Look... can you see her thinking of her final night alone?The second shot of my cousin as a Japanese bride, the night before her actual wedding. You cannot imagine how many layers of clothing she has one, each one thicker and more elaborate than the other. The kimonos have such beautiful embroidery though... it makes me proud to be quarter Japanese...
Used my Canon EOS 300 and Kodak black & white film. No idea what the settings were. I also cropped the image in photoshop to give it a more panoramic view. Desaturated it and upped the contrast to give it a better B&W feel.

There's just one small detail... too much contrast... the black areas are really balck areas... there's no definition... although that might have been done intentionaly...

Ooh i like this one better...mainly cos it look like such a 'caught off-guard' shot...yet it's well composed...great portrait...i like that her head's slightly lowered and so is her gaze...makes her look somewhat shy and deep in contemplation
oh and i think she wasn't thinking about her final night alone...she was thinking about her first night with someone
