I've wanted to make this for the longest time just for fun and as an example for people who wanted to know what I for coloring and design when it comes to some of the racers.

For Candlehead-

*Face and eyes are rounder, giving Candlehead a bit of a chubby look to her. Eyes looks more like your typical animu roundish type, so while her eyes are huge she is still Japanese (aren't most of the racer anyway? XD)

*Hair is more of a mint icecream color rather than a straight, bright green.

*The mint-chips found in the concept art are included to further show off the mint-chip theme of Candlehead.

*Eyes are a brighter green, matching the green in the final design in the movie

*Cheek blush and nose pink are darker and brighter.

*I also add just a TAD of lip blush but not too much to make it appear that characters are wearing lipstick. Depending on the character, I will add darker shades to lip to make them stand out but they are not colored to look like makeup rather than looking like a natural shade.

*To go with the Candlehead name, she has a spring of hair on the top of her had. This is not colored in with anything other than her normal hair type.

For Sakura-

*Face is thinner and eyes are more stylized.

*Hair is instead colored to look like green-tea/matcha earthy tones. This is again to off-set her from Candlehead and Minty.

*Chocolate dipped top-knot is added and has small drops much like Candlehead for accents.

*Nose and cheek blush is lighter as is her skin.

*Eyes are a darker, leaf green

*Pink on the straw matches the pink of the hair-ties on Candlehead

*Raspberries are a bright magenta color and shine slightly

Things I always do regardless of whoever I draw

*Add accents to lips. The top lip is always connected to the lines of the mouth but the bottom is not.

*Brows are always colored darker than the main color of the hair

*Trying too hard to get the 80s/90s TMS style eyelids with whatever the hell I'm trying to do now.
