Meet another one of my characters—Venkai!
Age: 25…he thinks.
Height: 6’2”
Race: Vessel (in other words a demon, though spelled "daemon" in my story, with a slightly different connotation)

Home: The Black Dragon Bar, located in the rundown shambles of some daemon-ghetto in Dra’talon. He lives there along with the rest of his “pride,” Ranviku, Newt, the twins Lazuro and Lazure, Raven, and in later times Zeek (dubbed Tiger).

Likes: Meat, spicy food, the color red, muscle shirts, piercings, tattoos, horror movies (especially Saw and Nightmare on Elm Street), going barefoot, heavy metal, blond girls, Axe hair gel, ordering people around, and the occasional ball of yarn.

Dislikes: Rain, eyeliner, horses (they scare him), sour candy, high heels on women, poor quality hairspray, being told things like “no” or “that’s illegal,” anyone who smiles more than 34% of the day, being woken before 9 am, black coffee, and about a mile long list of other things.

Self-christened “The King of Lions” for various reasons, he exhibits quite the temper, and almost always seems to have some sort of displeased or irate look on his face. He is very sensitive about his scar, which left permanent damage to that side of his lips, making them not quite want to work with the rest of his body anymore, hence almost every facial expression he makes appears “lopsided” to a degree. But despite his surly behavior, he really is a soft guy…somewhere…way deep down…like, waaay deep down…under a hard, crusty exoskeleton…made of nothing softer than steel….

He, like Zeek, is a vessel, which you can read about here: [link] , though Venkai is far more in control of his power, and acts as a sort of mentor to Zeek, and later an older brother when they finally get past their ideological differences.
