Description
As a future reminder to myself- make sure to have time before starting on a new reference Since Noire is a creature of imagination, she's bound to be changed every now and then. Mephisto (her tail beastie) is exactly the same- The biggest alterations to Noire are the collar/mane fur, the bustle/tail fluff, and she now has bangs! I've also simplified the stripes on her ears and horns, her face is more narrow, the mohawk is more fluffy and messy, changed her back stripes to come from her mane (plus a couple stripes in her collar fur), black nails, and a smudged makeup look. Personally, I'm really happy with the changes, and I know I'll have more fun drawing her now (:
I know, tl;dr! The most important things are covered on the reference itself. Since Noire's first birthday is coming up in July (and I'm notorious for never keeping a character longer than a few months), she was due for a little revamp!

I love how the front and back shots seem to connect. Even though you've got quite a lot on here in terms of the images and text, I don't get that vibe of trying to cram as much as you can onto the canvas. Wonderful job! I would really like to take a shot at drawing this lady.

Normally I don't like to put a ton of text on a reference sheet, so I tried to just include the things I thought were most vital to her and her personality (seeing as most people don't read the descriptions). This is a nice new look for her, when I saw this I was wowing it, the main suits her very well and the other addtions are awesome to.

I still love her design. Although I have noticed in comparison to the old ref that she looks a lot younger and more mischievous whereas the older one is more elegant and.. darker I guess? I'm lost for words. Whether it be a change of style of you as the artist or you wanted her to look that way.... it just works. Nice one

You're so observational! I did want her new design to be a bit younger looking, but I'm going to try to keep that element of darkness and elegance and move away from the cutesier stuff. There is more to her personality than just being adorable, of course (: Love your comments, thank you!
