“Why, Jacky boy, you already know the answer,” the reply came, making him nervous. “I’ve been with you your whole life. Ever since you were a child. You didn’t make friends easily, now did you? You needed someone to play with…”

“So? Every child needs a friend.”

“You created me. And I grew and grew, well into your teen years. All those kids pushing and shoving you around, locking you in your locker hours on end… And you never once fought back. Until I decided to help.”

“…that was you?”

“Indeed it was. Sure, you got detention for what I did, but they left you alone, didn’t they? You were too scared to step up yourself, so I had to do it for you. Then you tried to kill me with medication, to silence me. I’m not mad at you; trust me on that. But you need me.”

“I don’t want to listen to you. You’re a monster.”

“Then you are too. We are one and the very same. But now, I’m afraid, I’m in charge.”

“What? No!”

“Sorry, Jacky. You had your chance. You did well at it, but I can make you better. We’ll show everyone how to have a grand old time. We’ll get back at the people that hurt us. You remember how our old boss treated us?”

“…please, don’t let that happen again.”

“Don’t worry, I won’t,” the voice drawled, the tone dark and mocking. “I’ll see to it no one ever hurts us again. They humiliated us, tortured us. You just sit back and relax. I’ll make them laugh…”

Make of it what you will. I've wanted to do something like this for a long time. I haven't drawn either Jack or Joker in so long, it was long overdue. They probably look a bit funny, since it's been so long. I might change the dialogue a bit as well in time.
