Description I STILL have not been able to see the new Transformers movie! I loved the first one so much, and I really wish I could see the 2nd.

This one was done with the help of a few ref pics...all of which I couldn't make all his itty bitty details. I haven't drawn anything mechanical in years or so, since my last Zoid, so this guy frustrated me to no end. And I can't shade metal, so he is as you see him here. But he was fun to draw, I'll admit that.

Wow, I think the shadings you have here look absolutely fine for a metallic creature! But you could of course sometime try out a bit sharper shadings with clear difference between the 'light'-area, the normal colour and the shaded area. I hope you did understand even something about that
Anyway, the details look awesome, and that thing is absolutely cool! (Yes, I haven't ever watched any of the Transformer-movies) Do you have any idea how long did this work take from you? o:

I understood that lol. Yeah, I'm just not too good with metal. I didn't have this much trouble drawing Zoids (they're anime and usually only tended to have color and shades).
I love the first one, it's really good. I really want to see the 2nd, but seeing as it's been in theaters for nearly a month, I doubt I'll see it till it comes out on dvd. Hm, I'd say maybe 2 1/2 hours, on and off. I was getting frustrated with him.

Well, not really. The closest I get to robots are Zoids and now Transformers. Thank you.

i'm no real fan of Ravage but this is still really cool & well drawn outmyis of course the big autobot himself, Optimus Primeoh yeah baby.
i can't even imagine how much of a pain this was to drawbut you did a good job nonetheless.

I'm a fan for the movie Ravage, since he looks like a giant metal jaguar to me and I love big cats. Optimus is just plain awesome.
I'm used to drawing Zoids, but they're never this complicated. The biggest problem I think was the legs. So many little details. Thank you.
