Asperger's syndrome does not mean I deserve to be treated like shit. It does not mean I don't feel pain or don't care. It does not mean you can scream at me and think I'll understand why. It certainly does not mean you can act like a bully and think it doesn't hurt me.It is both a curse and a gift. I am who I am. It should not change your opinion of me just because I'm a little quirky.

I have asperger's and I deal with the same crap as you do. Don't ever think bad about yourself because it doesn't help a bit. Just tell them things like "Does it look like I chose to have asperger's? Cause if I had the choice, I wouldn't have it. So stop bullying me. If you had asperger's, you wouldn't like it if I bullied you for something you can't control." Don't ever let people make fun of you for your disorder. You exist for a reason.

Sadly, I wasn't diagnosed until 2010, well out of my school years. What a hellish time that was., simply because I behaved differently... Honestly, I'm a bit glad I have it. It gave me a creative side and I think differently from others. But thank you.

I like you because you are you. I didn't know you have Asperger's like I do. Never would have guessed it. Nice piece of art. Very powerful. Though is he/she supposed to be dead/hurt or are they just laying there with legs up in the air rolling around? Everything looks good except the drop shadow is a bit awkward of an angel and the legs kind of look like they are sticking up in the air. But yes I agree we don't deserve to be treated like shit. No one should be or deserves to be.

It's supposed to be a sort of "writhing-in-pain" sort of thing. Well, the leg was supposed to look a bit awkward, like she's kicking out or something. I've always been bad with shadows.

And despite what people on the internet may think, aspies do not always beg for free art. >.> I hardly EVER ask for art unless I can pay for it or somehow reciprocate, or unless it was specifically OFFERED, and even then I hesitate.

I also, tend to second-guess myself. All. The. Time. Especially in social situations...or even making comments on the internet. XD; "Oh geez, am I making a fool of myself..." "Oh no, why the heck did I just say all that..." etc.

Same here. I've been out of college for 2 years now and still no job. It seems no one wants to hire me, probably because of my poor social skills and communication of information.
Really? I never heard that compliant about people with asperger's wanting/begging for free art....

I'm just now getting ready to go into my first job and I'm really hoping I don't have too many problems with it. I've heard Aspies have a lot of trouble holding jobs at times...
Oh, I tend to do that all the time. I did it in college and my teacher would get stern and tell me firmly "Never second guess yourself, you know what you're doing!" even though at times it felt like I didn't. 
I guess I'm just sick of all the things people stick us with.

Hey good luck with the job. My Networking teachers at the college always told me that to. I second guess myself a lot to and they told me not to that I know how to do it.
Also yeah I feel stupid a lot because people tend to treat me like an idiot at times. I have a lot of trouble communicating my skills and knowledge to the job interviewer so I sound like I don't know a thing about what I was trained in. I just sound like a stupid idiot.

Honestly, when I was a child, being this was a total curse. But then I realized that was where my talent (art) came from, along with many others. I'm sure there's something there for you as well, it may just be hidden and you don't see it yet. Hope that makes sense.
