My other gen 7 art:Quick, messy doodle of Rowlet. Want to fix things but I'm honestly too tired right now.
Kind of ill, medication making me dizzy as fuck. But take this cute lil ball of fluff.

You wanna know something? Every game before Sun&Moon, I was able to make a quick, clean decision on which starter I would choose.
"Eh, Charizard's cool and all, but I'm more partial to Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise. Ah, Blastoise."
"Torchic? Cute, yeah, but I'm not a fan of Blaziken. Now Sceptile? That's a creature I can get behind."
"F-E-N-N-I-K-E-N. F-E-N-N-I-K-E-N."

But, for the first time with any Pokemon game... I am clueless on which starter to pick. 100% clueless. Rowlet's a freaking owl... Linnet looks so sleek... Popplio is just plain adorable... AGH.

When I first saw Popplio, I was pretty apprehensive, in fact, my first thought was that Italian sea lion from Madagascar 3. And of course, that movie is really not that great to associate with anything. But, when I remembered "It's a Pokemon..." well, he's original. Maybe the clown nose doesn't give 'im a great first impression, but first impressions can lie. The way he was advertised to use "water balloons" looks somewhat interesting, and, again, its something not tapped into before (unless you count Seel and Spheal). And besides, we haven't seen final evolutions, so that could easily turn the tables.

Before final evolutions are revealed, what do you think its final evolution will look like? I'm thinking panther or leopard. Maybe even ocelot.

Possibly. I was thinking a tiger could be a little too similar to Pyroar, since tigers and lions (and bears, oh my!) are often associated with each other.
