Description
Lineart and some color by me. The REAL coloring here, though, was done by Robby Bevard at Antarctic PressThis is the cover to our parody of those 'how to draw' books. I think the inside art is embarrassingly bad, but people seem to be enjoying it. Thankyou, God!
Edit: For those of you that actually want this thing and can't find it, it was recently republished in handy Pocket Manga format and should be in a store near you in the near future.

Holy flying monkies...
I own this freakishly awesome book! I had no idea that one of the artists actually had a DA account! All my friends and myself just pick it up and read it from time to time. Its rather tattered now though and currently setting on the table in our front room.... Anyway, I must check out your gallery! X3

Man, i love this book. It was the best thing i've taken out of my backwoods West Virginian library since that time i found a dollar on the floor. I can't find it in any (backwoods West Virginian) retail stores, but i flip back through the book with each visit I take to the library. Puts a smile on my face. *thumbsup* S'cool man, s'cool.

Yeah, it really was a book. Antarctic Press published it, and it was available at Barnes n Noble, I think. It's long out of print, though, so it's a little hard to find...

My mom bought me a "How to Draw Manga" book that was made by a white guy. I don't use it. It's....pretty bad. I only like the ones by Japanese people. (And I know I sound racist, but I am half white myself, so....I'm not racist. )

um, to tell you the truth, i think your right!! i am sorry but most 'how to draw manga' books done by non-japanese dont seem to be the same as japanese... japanese have that TOUCH to it that only japanese can get.

I have seen my fair share of horribly drawn books that try and tell you how to do thngs "right". I think that the art is pretty good, at least far better than when other americans try their hand at making "manga" *cough cough teen titans cough*. And it is fairly obvious that the book is meant as a satire of almost everything manga, and a well done one at that.
P.S. - The angsty loner guy shooting the boxfull of kittens almost killed me, as I was laughing so hard.

That was you? NO WAYNESS! Lol, post some of the inside pics so I don't have to order the book from the internet. It's sold out everywhere I look.
I liked that book when I first saw it. Those stereotypes are so tru. I kinda don't mind them, tho, since I like manga more for the pics than stories, sometimes. I thought the drawings were really well done.

You know, my company has that book in stock. If you feel down with ordering it check out [link]
Also, I don't actually have the inside pages. I had these because I had to composite them myself. As time went on, I was just drawing assets and leaving them for an editor to assemble. That is pretty much all I have.
Actually, I might have the 'field guide to modern pantyshots' lying around on my harddrive somewhere. I'll see about uploading them for ya guys....

Lol, cool. As a girl, I don't think I should really be all that happy about it, but I thought the art was really nicely done ^_^
