I really like this. What sort of pens do you use for your cross hatching? I like how you vary your line width even with that.

Actually, this is all a brush. Winsor Newton series 7, #1. Thats exactly why i use, it can make all the marks i need.

No kidding. So you carry brush and ink well with you to shows? Wouldn't that get messy?

Well, i used to bring a bizilloin different pens. So this kinda simplifies things for me. It's really not so bad. I bring a butchers tray to keep any spills confined.

You're braver than me. I'm fairly terrified of using an inkwell even in my own apartment (I rent so that makes my fear all the worse).

I'll have to show you how i set it up. it's Risk free. Besides, nothing gets in the way of me inking with my brushes.

Yeah, I'd have to see it to believe it. At least just a picture or something. I'd love to learn more about inking techniques, but I also don't want to destroy my clothes/surroundings.

Well, they would have, in fact they gave me everything i could possibly do. I have a full time job outside of this, and there's the rub. BUT, thanks again for the support!!!
