This took me FOREVER. I can't believe it's finally done!

So these are the main players in the project I'm currently working on and am very close to starting to draw, so expect to see a lot of these four in the future. I'd be super psyched to hear what you think of them!

Characters are Prince Sebastion DeGuille ("Bastion"), his twin sister, Princess Viola, his best friend, a wizard named Christian Orsino ("Hex") and in the painting behind them, a mermaid named Olivia. She doesn't have a human form, so it was the only way to work her in to this particular one, and she doesn't look much like a mermaid because you can't see her fins and she dresses in the bodices of gowns she finds in shipwrecks. Yes, they are named after the four main characters in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, and yes, the surname "DeGuille" is super punny (bonus points if you can tell me why) and is meant to make you smile and give some insight into Bastion and Viola's personality.

Also, in case it isn't obvious, Viola's dressed as the night, Hex is the sunset/sunrise, and Bastion is the day, and in another bit of punny goodness, the colourful gems Viola's wearing are moonstones, and the colourful gems Bastion's wearing are sunstones. I based the ballroom on the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles.
