-EDIT-What a popular piece! So popular, in fact, that people feel free to rip it off, remove my signature from the corner, and re-post it as their own. They're even kind enough to grant CC licenses on my behalf so that other people can feel free to re-use it without ever knowing who drew it.
When I start using really huge, ugly watermarks, heavy signatures, or just stop posting artwork like this to public galleries, you'll know why. For instance, I used to let people DL a 1200 wide, un-marked version of this piece. Now I don't. Sorry about that, folks.

I think there were some zombies with guns in Romero's Land of the Dead. Not to worry, they have terrible aim.

Drawn in CS3 on a Cintiq 18SX. Lightboxed the guns (painfully obvious on the Beretta I think), the rest is pure freehand. I'm sorry about the cut & paste birds, but I was in a rush at the end there. Please don't feed me to them. Click "download" to check out a larger version.

Annoying rip off people. But, awesome pic. Worst case scenario:Zombies raise up, and they do use guns. We panic, and throw children at them. Zombies make human catapults with left overs. Freaking out at how great a story this would make, I'm sued by random people so they could use this great idea.(truth be told, I wish I knew people who would work with me to create stuff. I'm not the best artist yet, but I am an idea person).

I think this would be worse than an actual zombie apocalypse (you know, zombies but without the guns. lol).
Gun you down and then eat you? I think survival rates would drop, but that's just me. xD

i just watched land of the dead yesterday and i didn't think it would be as good as it turned out to be... if zombies used guns we would definately be screwed. isn't simon pegg in that movie as a zombie as well? anyway, i'm wondering from what really matters here... people who basicly steal other's artwork and ideas are just usually too lazy to even bother doing their own stuff and I can't see how using someone else's work and calling it their own gives them a sence of accomplisment and acheivement because all I would feel is guilt. I love this drawing a lot, it's brilliant in fact!

"Land of the Dead", I think. Not the best Romero zombie movie.
When I think of zombies w/guns, I like to think of the Japanese film Versus, done back in 2000. A bunch of yakuza are forced to deal with the reanimated corpses of all the bodies they've been dumping in a forest (apparently along with their guns). Crazy silly awesome action.
