-EDIT-What a popular piece! So popular, in fact, that people feel free to rip it off, remove my signature from the corner, and re-post it as their own. They're even kind enough to grant CC licenses on my behalf so that other people can feel free to re-use it without ever knowing who drew it.
When I start using really huge, ugly watermarks, heavy signatures, or just stop posting artwork like this to public galleries, you'll know why. For instance, I used to let people DL a 1200 wide, un-marked version of this piece. Now I don't. Sorry about that, folks.

I think there were some zombies with guns in Romero's Land of the Dead. Not to worry, they have terrible aim.

Drawn in CS3 on a Cintiq 18SX. Lightboxed the guns (painfully obvious on the Beretta I think), the rest is pure freehand. I'm sorry about the cut & paste birds, but I was in a rush at the end there. Please don't feed me to them. Click "download" to check out a larger version.

I wish I could... used to be I did, and then some people abused it, cutting out my signature and spreading it around as their own work. After that, it's a wonder I let anything be seen here at any size without a watermark.
Some jerks ruin it for everyone, and then we can't have nice things.

well Firefox has a theme template you can use like where you put the address for websites, well all the white on the right of it you can put cool designs and art and stuff. well that picture was one of the things you could add as a template, just look up firefox persona on Google and you will see, also search "zombies" under that website and you will find your drawing. it's a really cool drawing dude keep up the great work!

Seriously folks, if it ain't yours DON'T USE IT ON STUFF LIKE THIS. It's one thing to share a piece of artwork in a forum or on a blog and link it back to the artist. It's something else entirely to swipe it and upload it to a site like Mozilla.

All we need is style? No way dude, in fact according to Max Brook's Zombie Survival Guide (yes there is a book of this, i got an E-Book of it) Survival is key, meaning going all badass on them won't do much.

Yeah, but Versus isn't of the Brooks Traditional School of Zombie Folklore. It's more of a mystic horror thing of vengeance and so forth. And they have guns. Check it out sometime, it's kinda hilarious in its awesome awfulness.

The zombies still follow traditional style, but have ecchi and very graphic pwnage scenes to boot. ^^
And I still think running away and not going badass is the best way of living... (Being a 5' 2" has disadvantages)

Very basic brush (4-6px, hard edge) and greyscale so that they only colors are black and white. That, and the original is at print resolution, reduced here for the web. When you reduce, it tends to sharpen up.
