Well, now that Corona Virus has shut down school, I figured I would take the time to document and post some of the art I've been working on for said school UvU

Here is a foam core board project done for my Design II course... I didn't want to make a free-standing statue- which would have honestly been a lot more impressive- because I simply don't have enough space in my home for one, so I decided to make a wall hanging.

I chose this particular design to represent the state of Virginia, which was where I spent my childhood before moving to Michigan. The Cardinal is the state bird, the Dogwood flower is the state flower, and the Appalachain Mountains (in this, the Blue Ridge system, which I lived in) are all the first things I think of when I think of my old Home, so I put them together to make this ^^

To my surprise, I learned a lot about interior paint and how to apply it to something that isn't a solid wall... that, and to not go to your local hardware store and blow almost 40 bucks on paint samples... the employees will give you very strange looks
