They had many names for it.
The deep.
The abyss.
The great darkness.

She had heard many of the ”surface people” refer to it as the Davy Jones Locker.
Well, maybe not in the last years...

The point was….

No one went down there.
They were afraid to.

And if you thought of it, that was pretty logical.

In the darkness you cant see anything.
You can easily lose your way, and get lost.
Monsters…. Monsters literally lived down there.
With their huge mouths, and their lanterns.

And so the deep was left alone.

Until the weird radio calls had started ticking in.
Calls from people who should be dead.
Dead for decades.

This of course had scared people.
How was this possible?
Where did these messages come from?

Scientists had scratched their heads for weeks.
To no avail.
All the major news outlets had covered the matter.
Only managing to scare the audience even further.

After a while she had simply gone absolutely sick with the whole situation.
“If these signals scares us all so much, why not just go down there and try finding the source?”

People called her crazy.
People said she would never find what she was looking for.

That was probably right.
