It’s kind of amazing how I can look at this purely as a piece of art completely devoid of context while I’m working on it, but when I stop and look at it I start tearing up. It’s weird how my brain works.
Sorry for bumming anyone out with this picture, I promise the next big piece will be something really happy.

That is like foreshadowing S4.
You could think that you run out of tears from all those sad pictures and comics that are made with Scootaloo since the S4 teaser, but when the episode will aired you will see that there are more than enough tears are left.
And for all who don't understand what the letter, Scootaloo was reading before having a breakdown, is about:
It's a letter from her doctor, that was sended to her some time after examining her wings, and that tells her the bad news that her wings are not strong enough for flying.

I have literally no idea if they're actually addressing this in S4 (I'm not keen on spoilers because they're surrounded so much negative speculation that never pans out).
It should be noted though, that Faust herself had intended that Scootaloos wings be too small for flying, so it's been something I'd accepted as canon, what with word of god and such.
I think she'll be a better character for it. Assuming it does make canon, her relationship with Rainbow Dash becomes a bit more nuanced, with Dash representing something she could never attain, which, I'm sure, would bother Dash, who genuinely seems to care about Scoots post-Sleepless in Ponyville.

It's kind of weird being able to create art that affects people on an emotional level, though I suppose it's more context than impression, but still, it's more than I would have ever imagined being able to do.

Being able to affect your viewers on an emotional level is powerful stuff, regardless of how you do it. The fact of the matter is that you can tell a story (give context) with just one image, which is an impressive in and of itself, so give yourself some more credit here.
