"C'mon, big brother! Yer lettin' a FILLY beat ya in a race!"Just some fun stuff. I wanted to practice some more animated poses, as I've not drawn in a while and I'm stagnating with even simple stuff. Kicking myself in the ass on stuff I never try is a good way to get me to think about the fundamentals in a totally different way after over a week or so of doing no drawing whatsoever.
Perspective and kinetic movement were the goals here. I'll try to finish this at some point, but I don't know when. Bit busy inventing new solar cells.

True,the proportions seem a bit off and if there's going to be any bg I suggest treating it as a whole at this stage to see eventual mistakes, instead of just adding it later on, but I'm sure you knew that already by yourself

Hmm... Big Macintosh looks dangerous insane and Applejack looks like an otherworldly abomination disguised as a pony...
But that's probably because it isn't coloured yet. The poses are good however, and that's what you were practising, so success?

In Big Mac's case, it's the maniacal grin and the narrowing of the eyes. In Applejack's case, it's the eye, specifically how the pupil isn't solid and how the light shining on her eye isn't differentiated from the iris.
As I said, it'll probably look fine when it's done.
